Verse
“Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses …And the LORD heard [it]… why were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?” The LORD’s anger burned against them.” Num 12:1, 2, 8, 9
Thought
Moses was criticized by His own sister and brother at heart for getting married to a Ethiopian lady. By words they only told “Does the LORD speak only through Moses? Does He not also speak through us?” Num 12:2. Lord heard this, “And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle” Num 12:4, and Lord said, Moses is so precious to me that I spoke to him face to face and so “why were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?” Num 12:8. Then Lord was so angry at Miriam and Aaron, and Miriam became leprous. Moses cried to the Lord for Miriam and the Lord healed her.
Do you know that you so precious in the sight of the Lord? Lord said, you are the apple of my eye, and I have written you on the palm of my hands. We being His Children, why are we having a low esteem? Why are we thinking of negative things happening? Why fearful of future? Remember the Lord does not even entertain other talking or even thinking ill of us. Then how much more, the Lord would have planned for our life.
Prayer
Lord I thank you for I am precious in your sight. Praise you for all the plans you have for me. Glorify you for leading and guiding me in safety. Amen.
